Yay! 100 Suns! I can't believe I have continued to do this for 100 days. My thought on this one was I wanted to do 100 pennies for 100 Suns, but I counted out 100 pennies and it just wasn't enough to do what I wanted. I didn't end up counting how many I used. I did soak the pennies in a vinegar and salt bath to create the green patina on them. I really like how they look really old.
This is my favorite so far! Awesome! Love the oxidized effect!
ReplyDeleteWay cool sun! Happy 100! I've used vinegar to make pennies shiny but the addition of salt to get a patina is new to me. Filing it away for future scientific fun!
