Lemon Juice Sun! The Hobby Lobby said today was National Lemon Juice Day! I was watching National Treasure yesterday and remembered they did an lemon juice invisible ink. So I looked up how to do it and here it is. Basically you paint with the lemon juice, let it dry, then hold it over a heat source. And the image just appears.

Flip-Flop Sun! About a month ago, I was sitting around with a couple of my nephew's friends and they were brainstorming ideas with me. The idea of using flip-flops came up! This was my idea but I wanted to be able to wear them to the beach and see if they leave sun prints in the sand. Well we have not made it to the beach at all this year. It has been way too hot. Maybe I will do a follow up picture if we end up there.

Underwater Sun! A few months ago I was working on a book about saltwater fish, and I saw all the photos with the sun shining through the top of the water. I have been wanting to do a Sun in this way I just couldn't decide how and what medium to use. Well I finally decided to do it in pastels and I added a shark because it's the end of shark week!
