Towel Sun! Well I kept seeing that today is Towel Day! I didn't know what that meant until I looked it up. It is a day to celebrate the author Douglas Adams, who wrote the book The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy. I have not read these books yet but I plan on it. I have seen the movie though and understood immediate why it is Towel Day!

Extra Large Coffee Mug Sun! This is the mug that I originally wanted to do for Mother's Day. My mom drinks her coffee out of a pretty big coffee mug. I found this over-sized one and thought of her immediately. So I painted a sun on it for her. I don't think she will be able to use this as a drinking mug but I thought maybe she could use it as a planter.

Drink Cup Lid Sun! This has been quite a night! I didn't get out of work until late. Then I went and got my hair done by my cousin. I didn't get out of there until almost 9pm. Got home ate dinner and then sat down to figure out what to do for my Sun! My cousin got me a soda while I was waiting for my color to set. So I was drinking from my Sprite and saw the Sun in the lid. I have been trying to think of more ways to make art out of recycled materials.

Elmer's 3D Pen Sun! I bought these Elmer glue pens thinking I was going to use them on a ceramic mug that I got for my Mom for Mother's Day. Well they did not work well on the mug. Actually they were difficult to work with all together. I am not totally pleased with the way this came out, but I tried. I am going to see if I can find some ceramic paint markers or something to see if I can still make my Mom's mug for her before I see her next weekend.

Make-up Sun! I have never really been a make-up type of girl, until the past 5 years. I was always the tom-boy type. A few years ago the girls at work introduced me to the elf website. This has become my favorite make-up. Not only is this product great it also has a great price.

Milk Bone Sun!

I am finding that I am really pushing myself these past couple of weeks. I have so many ideas, just not the time to do the ideas I have. I have been putting in some extra time at work, and by the time I get home and am able to sit down and actually create something. I am out of time to do the things I really want to do. I am realizing I am pushing myself to really think outside the box to create something rather quickly. Sometimes I refer to the Creative Journal to help with some inspiration. I remembered one of the prompts was to use one of your favorite animals as inspiration. Today my inspiration is my dog. He is my buddy and follows me all around the house.

Window Crayon Sun! The editor at work was given some of these Crayola Window Crayons at a show she went to. She brought them in for me to make a Sun out of. I decided to do the sliding glass window. These were really fun to play with. Thank you Luana for thinking of me!
